Fruit Juice 'Fruju' logos

I created a logo for a fruit juice brand.
Dimensions: 29.7 cm by 21 cm

I made another with a black background for the energy drink version.
Dimensions: 29.7 cm by 21 cm

I used characters interacting with the fruit along a line to show a fun story of making the drink.
Dimensions: 29.7 cm by 21 cm
I created a fruit juice brand by using Adobe Photoshop to colour and compose a variety of images which were then printed onto bottle labels.

'Fruju' Bottle Prototypes

I printed labels with my designs on them and applied them to bottles to make realistic prototypes.
I filled the bottles with different juice to show the variations of the drink.

I photographed the front view of the bottles.

This is the illustration section of the label; showing the process of
making the product.

Taxidermy Mouse Themed Card

I designed this card for my Graphic Design teacher. It is inspired by my other hobby: mouse taxidermy.

Stamp Out Extinction

I used Adobe Photoshop to design a range of stamps focusing on the issue of extinction. These particular stamps address poaching and the removal of the horns/tusks of animals.

I then designed some stamps as a four piece set. This allowed me to created a storyline.
I also addressed the issue of the rapidly decreasing habitat of Polar Bears; this set of stamps
illustrates the impact of the rising temperature of our climate.

Creative Bones

I created this image to be a literal interpretation of the saying "creativity is in your bones"; the use of combining text with a skeletal hand was inspired by Jose Mendez's "Stay Gold" piece, source: Pinterest. For this image I used Adobe Photoshop. The dimensions are 21 cm by 34.31 cm.

The Deer and The Cow

For this illustration I swapped the roles of the human and the deer for a humorous effect;
I used bright colours to avoid scaring my young target audience.

(Dimensions: 23.03 cm by 17.34 cm)

I chose the title of the book to be "Milking Guide" to add to the humour of a cow reading.
(Dimensions: 18.86 cm by 18.91 cm)
I created these illustrations as part of my reading promotion project. The characters were inspired by the expressive and humorous illustrations of Natalie Smillie, source: Behance. Both images were hand drawn and digitally coloured on Adobe Photoshop.

Living Pens

I created these images by first photographing a pen placed on a notebook and then using Adobe Photoshop to add colour, eyes and limbs. I was inspired by the work of Jose Mendez and his way of bringing inanimate objects to life, source: Behance. The dimensions of each image are 17.54 cm by 22.73 cm.

Time to Read

I created these images during my reading promotion project. Both the text and images were made on Adobe Photoshop. The dimensions of each image are 21 cm by 29.7 cm.

Read Read Read

This typography was created as part of my reading promotion project. I was inspired by the use of sharp and strong typography in Jose Mendez's "Go, Go, Go" poster series, source: Behance. I used the shape tool on Adobe Photoshop and the dimensions are 21 cm by 29.7 cm.

The Dead Bee

This image was inspired by an incident in my childhood; when I discovered a dead bee on my window sill and decided to keep it in a small box to treasure for years. For this image I used the shape tools on Adobe Photoshop; the dimensions are 25.35 cm by 19.9 cm.

The Lion and the Boy

I digitally coloured this illustration on Adobe Photoshop after hand-drawing it. I used the contrasting expressions of the lion and the boy for a humorous effect. This image is 29.7 cm by 21 cm.

Falling Girl

This image is a part of my reading promotion project, I created this on Adobe Photoshop by digitally colouring the characters after hand-drawing them. I used saturated colours and curved text to create a friendly vibe and appeal to my target audience of children. These characters were inspired by Natalie Smillie's work on Behance. The dimensions of this image are 17.06 cm by 29.7 cm.

Robot Kids

I made one with more feminine colours to appeal to an audience of young girls.

I made another with masculine colours to appeal to young boys to expand my
potential audience.
I made these images for the bookshop I created as part of my reading promotion project. They were both created on Adobe Photoshop and each image is 29.7 cm by 21 cm.

Birthday Cards

I made a range of birthday cards using characters I designed which were inspired by the styles of Bee Grandinetti and Natalie Smillie. The characters were either hand drawn and digitally coloured or created using the shape tool on Adobe Photoshop. Each card is 12 cm by 17 cm.

Stationary Set

I applied my designs to rulers.
I printed my design onto sticker paper so I could apply it to pencils.
I made templates to fit around rubbers and printed them onto card.
I created a range of stationary using the characters I made during the reading promotion project. I made my templates on Adobe Photoshop.
